Signals & Subtractions runs with a rotating cohost. Every cohost brings their own audience, perspective, signal, and subtraction to the table. They pressure-test the episode's central choice, translate the guest's evidence into another operating context, hold space for the guest, backstop the host, and keep the conversation honest. The rotation is structural: different fields, different filters, better decisions. It is also genuinely a rotation, not a fixed pair. Most weeks the seat is filled; some weeks it is host and guest, and some weeks the host alone.
The roster

What a cohost brings
One signal worth watching and one subtraction worth making, every episode they sit in. Specific, recent, first-person. They also bring one question, counterexample, or piece of evidence that could change the answer to the episode's central choice. How the video works
Same terms guests get. The livestream runs weekly on Wednesdays; the recording is shared until the Friday episode is released, and then the episode replaces it. The episode is the permanent artifact. You see the cut before it ships and can flag anything; the final edit is the host's call.
